Collagen-stimulation with Hyperdilute Radiesse

Treatment Overview

At ENHANCED An Aesthetic & Wellness Experience, we believe that Regenerative Medicine is the way of the future, and we love using its science to help rejuvenate our clients! Hyperdilute Radiesse is a specialized technique that helps stimulate natural collagen production to volumize, support, and provide structure to our face. Radiesse is a FDA-approved dermal filler containing calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in gel that, when skillfully and correctly injected, promote subtle and natural-looking results!

How does it work?

Radiesse product is diluted then injected with a cannula (a blunt-ended needle). Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) in Radiesse is a biocompatible and biodegradable substance that is found naturally in our bones and teeth. When hyperdilute CaHA is injected into the skin, the CaHA microspheres act as a scaffold, supporting the surrounding tissue and providing immediate volume. Over time, the body’s natural response is triggered by the presence of the CaHA microspheres. This response includes the activation of fibroblasts, which are cells responsible for producing collagen. As the fibroblasts are stimulated, they start to produce new collagen fibers around the CaHA microspheres. This collagen production continues over several months, gradually replacing the injected filler material. The newly formed collagen helps to improve skin elasticity, firmness, and overall quality.

Is There Discomfort

We want all of our clients at ENHANCED Medical Spa in Eagle to be as comfortable as possible during all treatments. We can use a combination of topical numbing, ice, and lidocaine injections to help minimize pain. Most say the procedure is very tolerable.

Is there Down Time?

After the treatment, patients may experience some redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites; these side effects are usually temporary and resolve on their own. Minimal to no downtime.

Duration & Frequency?

The treatment is tailored to each individual’s specific needs and desired outcomes. Our premier aesthetic providers suggest booking a complimentary consultation to go over goals and the treatment plan to achieve them. Most will likely need 3-4 vials spaced out a month apart to achieve optimal results.

What other treatments does it work well with?

At ENHANCED, located near Boise, our providers love to combine this treatment with other biostimulating procedures including, but not limited to, EXION RF microneeding, microneedling with Rejuvapen, and chemical peels.
